Is my business eligible?

Business partners may be:

  • situated anywhere in Tasmania
  • national businesses with Tasmanian outlets or
  • online or mail order businesses anywhere in Australia.

Seniors Card business partners must have a valid ABN. Businesses can also offer their discounts to interstate Seniors Card holders and New Zealand SuperGold Card holders.

Become a Seniors Card business partner

You can apply to become a Seniors Card business partner online. To become a business partner you must:

  • agree to the terms and conditions
  • validate your ABN
  • provide information about your business, services and the discount for Seniors Card holders.

Once you’ve completed your registration online and it has been approved, you’ll have access to the business partner portal. Log in to the portal to:

  • update your business contact information
  • update your discount or offer details
  • add locations or change your business address
  • access promotional materials
  • securely contact us if you have any questions.

Business partner accounts and login

Once your password is set and your account is created, confirm your business details are up-to-date. You will be responsible for ensuring your business information is accurate. Then click on the business partner agreement for more information.

You will then be able to access all the features you need to customise your Seniors Card arrangements including:

  • ordering promotional material
  • adding new offers
  • modifying existing offers and
  • selecting what business location to have certain offers.

How do I promote my business as a Seniors Card business partner?

Participating businesses are encouraged to display the "Seniors Card Welcome Here" logo at their outlet. It can also be displayed in marketing collateral and advertisements.

Place Seniors Card display stands on your counters and stickers in your window. Make sure they are clearly visible to Seniors Card holders. You can request a digital image by emailing seniors@service.tas.gov.au.
