You can share some updates to your personal information with participating government services through the Tell Us Once service.

How to tell us

Tell Us Once (TUO) is part of myServiceTas. You choose who you want to share your updates with. When you make a change to your address, email or phone number in myServiceTas, we’ll check who you’ve chosen, then securely share your updates.

You can find your Tell Us Once preferences in My profile under My account when you log in to myServiceTas.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • updates are shared with ‘All participating government services’ by default
  • choose ‘Only specific government services’ if you want to share with just some government services
  • if you’ve 'linked' a service, you won’t be able to disable updates for that service because sharing your contact information is a condition of linking.

Importantly, not all updates will be accepted by all participating government services. Some agencies have special rules about when contact details can be updated. While many participating government services will process updates immediately, some will take longer because they must manually check your information.
