    About renewing your registration

To view all of your vehicle registrations, including those eligible for renewal, create an account or login at myServiceTas.

A renewal notice will be sent to your registered postal address 4 to 6 weeks before your registration expires.

You can renew for 3, 6 or 12 months for both light and heavy vehicles (with a gross vehicle mass of 4.5 tonnes or more).

Light trailer registrations can only be renewed for 6 or 12 months.

You can find the payment number on the renewal notice or through the online Tas Rego check service.

You can also register for an SMS reminder to alert you when registration is due.

If you are paying the registration on behalf of someone else, you can pay directly online.
