- When accreditation is held by an organisation or company, it must have a natural (individual) person to be the responsible person.
- The role of a responsible person is to act as the Transport Commission's primary contact, oversee and be responsible for ensuring the service meets regulatory safety, security, and related standards.
- The accredited operator must notify the Transport Commission within 14 days if the responsible person changes.
- The accredited operator or authorised person must complete an application form (PDF, 116KB), and provide a national police certificate (PDF, 883KB) for the new nominated responsible person. You must apply at a service centre and pay an $89 fee.
