Key info
- Owner-operator licences are released annually by the Transport Commission. You must visit a service centre to apply.
- To apply you must be an accredited individual. Organisations cannot apply.
- You must be a registered operator of a suitable vehicle that is not used to provide a taxi service under another licence and have no outstanding fees due to the Transport Commission.
- It costs $170 to apply. Please email operator.accreditation@stategrowth.tas.gov.au for more information on applying for an owner-operator taxi licence.
