Apply for a group prospecting licence

• Any community group, school or business can apply for a group prospecting licence.
• The licence allows a group of up to 20 people to carry out prospecting activities in pre-approved areas. Members of the group do not need individual licences.
• The licence is issued for up to 5 years.
• Licence holders are responsible for ensuring they get the relevant licences and permissions (PDF, 172KB) for the land on which they intend to carry out prospecting activities.
