- If you operate a country retail store at least 10 km away from the nearest registered pharmacy, you can sell or supply schedule 2 medicines in Tasmania.
- You must have a licence for the premises under Section 27 of the Tasmanian Poisons Act 1971.
- To apply you must submit an application form (PDF, 150KB) by post to Pharmaceutical Services Branch, GPO Box 125, Hobart 7001.
- Call (03) 6166 0400 or email pharmserv@health.tas.gov.au to ask for an invoice to pay for the licence.
