  • Help is available for farming families through the Rural Relief Fund. Up to $2,500 may be provided to help eligible families or households affected by drought or other severe weather. 
  • You can apply online or download an application form at Rural Business Tasmania.
  • General information and support is also available to assist Tasmanian farmers manage seasonal conditions. This helpful information sheet (PDF, 269KB) includes tools and resources as well as contact details for financial and personal support.
  • Farm Debt Mediation Tasmania (FDM) can help if you need support to resolve issues with creditors. FDM can help you reach an agreement and is cheaper and quicker than going to court.
