About applying for a temporary upgrade permit for a heavy vehicle

If your current heavy vehicle class of registration does not allow you to tow a heavy trailer, you can temporarily upgrade it to allow you to do so.

You must also check the vehicle configuration section on the application form to see if you need a modification approval before a temporary upgrade permit is issued.
