- A trial of smart ticketing on Derwent Ferry services will start on the Monday 8 December.
- Smart ticketing allows passengers to tap on and tap off with a credit card, debit card, or smart device.
- If you need a concession fare, child fare, or multiple fares, you must continue using your existing payment method.
- To use the new contactless method, tap on at the card reader located on the wharf as you board. At the end of your trip, tap off with the same card or device.
