About applying for a replacement student bus pass for free travel
You can apply for a replacement if your bus pass has been:
- lost
- stolen
- damaged
- is faulty, or
- you are changing to a new bus service operator.
You can email bus.passes@stategrowth.tas.gov.au if you need to update your personal details, like your:
- address
- phone number, or
- name.

What you need depends on what happened to your pass and where you apply:
To replace a lost, stolen or damaged bus pass online:
- complete the online application form, and
- pay the fee.

- complete the application form, and
- pay the fee.
The service centre staff will print the application form for you during your visit.
To replace a faulty bus pass at a service centre:
- complete the application form, and
- hand in the faulty card.

You do not need to prove your identity.
How much it costs
Replacing a lost, stolen or damaged bus pass costs $11.
Faulty bus passes can be replaced free of charge, but you must hand the faulty card in at a service centre.
