Apply to register a firearm

All firearms must be registered in Tasmania.
If you bring a firearm into Tasmania that is registered in another state, you must provide a copy of the interstate registration certificates and your firearms licence.
If you hold a firearms dealer licence, your licence must be endorsed in the category of firearm you are registering.
You must lodge your application at a service centre.
