Dorset Council (dog registration)

Key info

• If you own a dog that is over 6 months old, it must be registered and microchipped.
• To register a new dog, you can download a new dog registration form (PDF, 310KB) or visit the council offices at 3 Ellenor Street, Scottsdale.
• The form can be returned with payment to dorset@dorset.tas.gov.au or by post to Dorset Council, C/o Animal Registrations, PO Box 21, Scottsdale TAS 7260.
• Registrations expire on the 30 June every year and must be renewed before 31 July. Council will send you a notice when your registration is due.
