- ImmiCards are issued to some visa holders who do not have a passport recognised by the Australian Government.
- Your ImmiCard shows evidence of your Commencement of Identity in Australia. You can also use your ImmiCard to check your visa status and entitlements in the Visa Entitlement Verification Online system (VEVO).
- You can check if you are eligible for an ImmiCard before you apply.
- It can take up to 8 weeks to get your ImmiCard after you lodge the application
