- You can make a victim impact statement if you have been the victim of an indictable crime. Tasmania Police, the Victims of Crime Service or Victims Support Services can tell you if a crime is indictable.
- The statement must be written or typed. You can write or type your own, or you can use the victim impact statement form (PDF, 356KB) or the victim impact statement form (Word, 983KB).
- You must give your statement to Victims Support Services at least 5 days before the expected sentencing.
