Key info
- As an appointed Justice of the Peace (JP), you may apply for reappointment up to 6 months before or after you reach the age of 75, or 6 months before or after your appointment term expires.
- It is your responsibility to apply for reappointment before the end of your term. You can apply for reappointment every 2 years up to the age of 85.
- You can reapply online or request an application form by emailing JP@justice.tas.gov.au.
