Make a Medicare claim

• After you have paid for an appointment, you can make a Medicare claim online (through MyGov).
• You can also make a claim at the doctor's office, by post (with a completed application form) or at a Service Australia service centre.
• You can claim on behalf of someone if their name is on your Medicare card or if you're managing their Medicare account.
• If your claim is rejected, you will be notified. Medicare may need more details, or you may have already reached your claim limit.
