• The Renewable Energy Dividend program provides a one-time payment of $60 for residential households that get their electricity supply through an embedded network in Tasmania (rather than an authorised retailer). This includes caravan parks and retirement villages, where residents are billed separately for their electricity use.
• Customers on embedded networks who have received payments under the 2024 Supercharged Renewable Energy Dividend program do not have to reapply, provided their circumstances have not changed since applying for the Energy Bill Relief program.
• You must be able to supply a document that proves your address, and a recent receipt showing proof of payment for the electricity. Applications close at 2pm on August 31, 2025. For more information on the program, please visit ReCFIT.
• You can apply online at SmartyGrants or by completing an application form (PDF, 237KB) and visiting a service centre, or by posting it to Department of State Growth, Attention: ReCFITConcessions Team, GPO Box 536, Hobart TAS 7001.
