Apply for the Energy Bill Relief rebate

Key info

• Rebates are available for residential and small business customers. Eligible customers will receive the rebate automatically and cannot apply through the below process.
• Embedded network customers, which includes residents of a caravan park, retirement home or village who receive their electricity from a landlord must apply to access a payment of $250.
• Embedded network customers can apply in person at a service centre, online via SmartyGrants or by post to the Department of State Growth, GPO Box 536, Hobart TAS 7001. 
• You will need to provide a completed application form (PDF, 129KB), an eligible concession card at 1 July 2023, proof of address and a recent electricity bill. Please visit the Department of State Growth for more information.
