Apply for a Bass Strait Island air travel subsidy

Key info

• Eligible Tasmanians can receive a 50 per cent rebate on one return flight between Bass Strait Island and mainland Tasmania, each financial year (1 July to 30 June).
• You must live on a Bass Strait Island, be 65 years of age or over, have a Centrelink issued Pensioner Concession card or a Department of Veterans' Affairs Concession card.
• You must apply after you have booked, paid for, and completed your return trip.
• To apply, you must provide a completed application form (PDF, 121KB) with supporting documents to a service centre. For more information, please see Transport Services.
