About applying for, renewing or varying a sea fishing licence
Licences for the 2022-23 season are valid from the date of purchase until 31 October 2023.

You can add additional licence types onto your existing licence by changing your licence.
You do not need a licence to fish with a rod and line in marine waters in Tasmania.

If you apply, renew or vary online you must:
- provide your contact details
- provide proof of concession (if applicable)
- pay a fee.

If you are 10 or older you can apply for, renew or vary a sea fishing licence.

You do not need to prove your identity.
