    About applying for, renewing or varying a sea fishing licence

    Recreational sea fishing licences are only valid from 1 November 2021 to 31 October 2022.

    You can add additional licence types onto your existing licence by changing your licence.

    You do not need a licence to fish with a rod and line in marine waters in Tasmania.

    If you are 10 or older you can apply for, renew or vary a sea fishing licence.
