Overview
Communities, key stakeholders and government have been working together over the past two years to prepare community led Regional Drought Resilience Plans. Three plans have been developed for the Southern, Northern and North-West regions of Tasmania.
Following the finalisation of the regional plans, the first round of Quick Wins grants has been completed to help communities kickstart priority actions that support regional drought and climate resilience goals.
The Quick Wins Program 2025 has $330,000 of funding available across Tasmania for projects between $5000-$20,000 with $110,000 allocated per region. This forms part of a larger $1.3 million grant program to support the delivery of Tasmania’s Regional Drought Resilience Plans, to be rolled out later this year.
