The Tasmanian Men's Shed Association

The Tasmanian Men’s Shed Association (TMSA) is the peak body for Men’s Shed in Tasmania. The TMSA currently represents 73 Sheds, which collectively have over 3,000 members. Men’s Sheds provide a vital role supporting the health and wellbeing of members by reducing social isolation, encouraging participation, and sharing experiences and expertise in a safe environment.

TMSA Grants Program 2025-26

The TMSA Grants Program 2025-26 will support:

  • Men’s health and wellbeing, including mental health initiatives
  • The purchase of new tools, equipment or machinery
  • Men's Shed member training and education
  • Initiatives delivered by Men's Sheds that benefit the broader community.

The total funding pool is $175,000.

The maximum amount of funding that an eligible Men’s Shed can apply for through the Grants Program is $15,000.

PLEASE NOTE: Capital works are not eligible under this Grants Program:

  • Tasmanian Men’s Shed Capital Investment Grants Program 2025-26 is now open.
  • Eligible Men’s Sheds can apply for both the TMSA Grants Program 2025-26 and the Tasmanian Men’s Shed Capital Investment Grants Program 2025-26.
