Resilience and Recovery Tasmania (RRT) in the Department of Premier and Cabinet administers whole-of-government programs that support Tasmanian communities to build resilience and reduce disaster risk. These may be delivered in partnership with other Australian and Tasmanian Government agencies. We also support Tasmanian organisations to identify projects and funding opportunities.
If you have a project concept that aims to build Tasmania’s resilience to disasters, please review the following strategies and give consideration to how your project could align:
- Tasmanian Disaster Resilience Strategy 2020-2025 (PDF, 714 KB)
- National Disaster Risk Reduction Framework (PDF, 3.4 MB)
- National Strategy for Disaster Resilience (PDF, 4.0 MB)
Please note, there is no funding component with Expressing Interest. Project concepts submitted through this program will not be automatically submitted for any funding opportunities.
