Overview

The Family and Sexual Violence: Supporting Diverse Communities Grants Program 2024-25 (FSV Grants Program) will provide grants up to $80,000 per application for community organisations to deliver community-based projects and/or enhanced service capability to support inclusion, access and equity for diverse people and groups who experience barriers to support for family and sexual violence.

  • A total grants pool of $321,928 was available for expenditure for eligible projects that must be completed by 30 June 2026. Individual grants up to $80,000 will be available.
  • The FSV Grants Program 2024-25 includes four priority areas of funding:
    1. Additional support and/or tailored service delivery
    2. Early intervention responses, with a focus on addressing non-physical forms of violence
    3. Innovative solutions to increase operational capacity and/or build workforce capacity to respond to diverse communities
    4. Improving evidence and data collection.
  • Applicants needed to demonstrate how they support Tasmanians from the following priority groups of people:
    • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people;
    • culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) people;
    • women on temporary visas;
    • people with disability;
    • LGBTQIA+;
    • older people; and
    • people living in regional, rural and remote locations.
