AHA is a not-for-profit public company established by Australian governments and industry organisations. It manages animal health programs to ensure that the national system delivers a competitive advantage and preferred market access for Australia's livestock industries

Information on the identification of livestock for buying and selling, including the National Livestock Identification Scheme (NLIS), and livestock identification application forms. In Tasmania, a Federal Government subsidy is available for the purchase of cattle NLIS scanners, and for other purposes
