Scope
Commonwealth Government Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)
The OAIC is an Australian Government agency created as part of reforms of Freedom of Information (FOI) legislation. It brings together the functions of freedom of information, privacy and government information. The statutory officers of the Australian Information Commissioner, and the Freedom of Information Commissioner, have been established as independent monitors of FOI matters and reviewers of access decisions made by agencies and ministers
