A six week public consultation process on new Aboriginal heritage legislation concluded on 14 December 2012. A Report on the consultation process is available together with submissions, FAQs, fact sheets and other related documents

Aboriginal Heritage Tasmania protects and promotes Tasmanian Aboriginal heritage, and is the agency responsible for the Aboriginal culture and heritage services of the Department of Environment, Parks, Heritage and the Arts (links to relevant forms)

The report details the Aboriginal heritage found along vehicle tracks in the Arthur-Pieman Conservation Area. The Parks and Wildlife Service will use the report, and other information about the natural and social values of the reserve, to provide recommendations about future recreational vehicle use of the Arthur-Pieman tracks. A final tracks report, and management recommendations, will be prepared later this year
