A program of the Department of Health and Human Services, C U @ Home assists first-time mothers aged 15-19 years to ensure that children born to young parents have equal opportunity for optimal development
State Government Genetic counselling (Tasmanian Clinical Genetics Service)
The Tasmanian Clinical Genetics Service (TCGS) provides diagnosis, counselling and management advice for a range of genetic conditions and pregnancy related genetic services. Regular clinics are held throughout the year at the three main public hospitals (see calendar)
Commonwealth Government National Pregnancy Support Helpline
The Helpline provides counselling and support to women, and their partners or families, who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, or who are uncertain about continuing with a pregnancy
Commonwealth Government Pregnancy, birth & baby helpline: healthdirect Australia 1800 882 436
A pregnancy, birth & baby support service, available 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week to provide general information about pregnancy, birthing, post-natal care, and parenting in the first 12 months
