Commonwealth Government Atlas of Living Australia
An initiative of the Australian Government, the Atlas website provides access to an array of information on Australia's biodiversity. To assist researchers, members of the public can submit information on, and photos of, local species. Data sources include the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery's zoology and botany collections
State Government Flora of Tasmania online
The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery's online database of information on all flowering plants, native and naturalised, found in Tasmania. Information includes descriptions, keys, taxonomic relationships, distributions, and ecology
Local Government Hobart Regional Nursery
Hobart City Council operates a full scale and industry standard nursery at Mornington which also provides floral displays and a training venue

State Government Threatened species: list of state and national approved recovery plans, 2006-2010
Lists the recovery plans for listed threatened species that have been made or adopted under the Tasmanian Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 and also the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
