The Strategy is a three year strategy developed by the Australian States and Territories, through the Ministerial Council on Consumer Affairs. It aims to: improve indigenous Australians' knowledge of consumer rights and obligations; improve the behaviour of traders; and, promote effective engagement between consumer protection and other agencies, indigenous organisations and business
